Comparative economic indicators of the farmers practising natural farming vs conventional farming system

چکیده

The present study was carried out in Kanchipuram district of the Tamil Nadu. Paddy is main cereal crop raised 47,739 ha cultivated area followed by groundnut and pulses. Farmers following conventional natural farming are purposively selected 120 numbers to cultivate 436.56 among that data gathered from their respective fields. aim this analyze whether system economically better with sufficient economic returns farmers against practices. confined only major area; paddy. comparative analysis results revealed a viable option for under prevailing conditions significant yield gap higher benefit-cost ratio 2021–2022. Efficient use available resources as key input found attractive enough trigger wide spread adoption systems area.
